The Yew used in these pendants comes from trees that have been storm-fallen or naturally decayed — a sustainable choice that highlights the wood’s most striking colours and unique features. Each piece is cut locally into 25mm boards and carefully stacked for two years to enhance its character, making full use of trees that would otherwise go to waste.
From these, boards with the most exceptional grain and rich russet-red and orange tones are selected. Traditional hand-tool techniques are used to shape the wood into pendants, bringing out its natural beauty without unnecessary waste. Each piece is soaked in mineral oil for 48 hours and finished with a dry buff of organic beeswax, giving the Yew a warm, polished finish using only natural, environmentally friendly materials.
Choose a sterling silver bail or a knot-style setting, paired with a brown leather cord and sterling sliver lobster claw clasp. Each pendant is presented in an eco-friendly hessian bag and includes a care kit of mineral oil and organic beeswax, thoughtfully included to help maintain the Yew’s rich tones sustainably, ensuring your pendant can be cherished for years to come.
Each pendant is approximately between 50-55mm length, 20mm width and between 5-8mm depth.
